Ikarus started running in Sommer 2023.
Since then, the team has been slowly increased to offer the best German courses in Vienna.
Jose
Teacher & Manager
It’s a bit difficult to define the role of Jose.
Jose leads most German courses in Vienna & online, altough Ikarus counts with another teacher os-site and another one for online courses.
He is also responsible for the organization of courses, Instagram strategy & Collaborations.
Who’s Jose?.
- Jose is originally from Spain
- Studied German Studies at Complutense de Madrid University for 4 years
- Studied Teaching Degree (Lehramt) (Spanish-English-German) for 2 years at Bonn’s University (Universität Bonn)
- Studied Bildungswissenschaften (Educational Sciences) for 2 years also at Bonn’s University (Universität Bonn)
- Worked as a Spanish assistant teacher at a German Highschool for 2 years (Gymnasium Lohmar)
- Worked for the Greens at University level for 2 years (Grüne Hochschulgruppe @Universität Bonn) in the students parlament
- Was elected member of the students parlament at the University of Bonn in 2022
- Leaded the Social Department at the University of Bonn for 1 year in 2022
- Since Sommer 2023 working @Ikarus
Viktoriia
Social Media manager/ Content creator
Viktoriia deals with the creation of Posts & posting of Reels/stories on Instagram. She also manages daily operations of Ikarus as Room reservation or monthly instagram analisys to boost the Ikarus performance on Social Media.
Gema - Reel master
Gema is responsible for the transcript, editing & caption of Ikarus Reels.
Gema plays a significant role at Ikarus, trying to maximise the reels we do to reach as much people as possible.
Gema also improves Ikarus website
Marta - Reels collaborator
There is no videos without Marta.
Marta contributes to Ikarus with her motivation & good vibes to create Videos that motivate students to learn German at Ikarus.
Leo - Photographer
If you ever asked yourself about who is behind Ikarus posts, well, that’s Leo.
Leo takes pictures specially for collaborations. He master’s the understanding of how we are supposed to develop every post and it’s late publishing on Instagram.
We have been working with Leo since the very beginning.
