At Ikarus we offer German courses in Vienna for all levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. Learn German in the heart of Vienna! Our language school can be found in a green, cozy space in the heart of Vienna!
This course is only recommended for those who want to improve their oral skills in German
The Konversationskurs focuses on your oral skills to help you to become more fluent, which is very important for a job interview or presentations.
The teacher will encourage you to speak with the grammar regarding your German level.
Before the lesson, your teacher will send you via email the text you have to read about a specific topic. You should work with the article to be ready the day of the Konversationskurs.
Before ending the lesson, the teacher will provide you the Vocabulary sheet about the topic you have worked with.

Improve your German oral skills with Ikarus
We are aware of the importance of being able to communicate in your workplace or with friends.
For that reason, we developed a method to boost your skills when speaking. There is no other plan than helping you become more fluent in German.
How?
- Let’s focus on the topic first: You will have to read an article about one topic, e.g., the Veggie Diet.
- Once you read it and you know what is it about, you come to class and we start talking about the topic with the help of the teacher.
- Before ending the lesson, the teacher will hand out the Wortschatzblatt about the topic you have been working with.
Do I actually need this course?
It depends on your Time, Motivation and important is it to become more fluent.
You have to join this course if:
You are very motivated to learn but have:
- A job which requires you to be fluent with clients or colleagues
- A partner with family with german roots and you have to know the family
- You are studying or doing an internship and you want to become very fluent in German

The Konversationskurs last 8 weeks.

Of course, at Ikarus you can drink as much Coffee or Tea as you want, for free.

If you want to start, you can pay directly online so that a place is reserved for you. Maximum 3 participants.
*Those participants who do not wish to pay online can pay in cash by arrangement.
An invoice will be sent by email.
It’s not necessary to buy any books. The materials will be provided by Ikarus.
You have to bring:
- pen & notebook
- The article and notes about the topic.
As soon as we have finished the course, you can send an email to Zertifikat@sprachschule-ikarus.at so that you will receive your confirmation of participation by email.
