Ikarus is a Startup that was born with the aim of creating an ecosystem that would allow the Ikarus student to learn effectively and efficiently.
Ikarus understands languages as a tool to have a better work and social future. In German-speaking countries like Austria and Vienna, it is crucial to know German to be able to integrate, create friendships and have a motivation that allows you to stay abroad not only for the money.
For this reason I have a very young team to break with traditional teaching, contribute new ideas and revolutionize learning in the classroom.
I started with Ikarus in Summer 2023.

18:00-20:00 (twice a week – Mondays & Wednesdays, maximal 4 Students)

Books: A1/A2/B1/B2/C1 Cornelsen Leben in Österreich (Kursbuch mit Übungsbuch – Digital version included in the course) - Vergütung: 25-30€ (je nach Erfahrung)
🎯 Anforderungen:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium in Germanistik, Deutsch als Fremdsprache (DaF/DaZ), Philologie oder verwandten Studienrichtungen
- Erfahrung im Unterrichten von A1-Niveau
- Erklärungen erfolgen auf Englisch – Englischkenntnisse auf sehr gutem Niveau erforderlich (B2-C1)
- Pädagogisches Geschick, Geduld und interkulturelle Kompetenz
- Zuverlässigkeit und Verfügbarkeit zu den genannten Kurszeiten
- Beherrschung von Google Meets & Nutzung von Google Docs

Content Creator in Vienna
We are looking for an experienced Content Creator to produce short-form educational videos (Instagram Reels and TikTok) for people who are new to Vienna, international professionals, and students.
The main objective is to increase the current reach of the Ikarus account and attract a highly relevant new audience.
Responsibilities
The creator will be responsible for the entire content production process, except publishing:
- Writing the script
- Adapting content for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Recording the videos
- Full editing, including:
- fast cuts
- dynamic pacing
- clean and minimalist style
- light zooms used intentionally
- Clear, readable subtitles
- Writing the caption
- Delivering final content ready to publish
KPIs and Performance Tracking
The collaboration will be evaluated using clearly defined KPIs, agreed upon together, such as:
- Reach per video
- Retention and watch time
- Engagement (saves, comments)
- Overall account reach growth
KPIs are used to optimize content and determine whether the collaboration continues, not for micromanagement.
Requirements
- Fluent English and German
- Proven experience creating educational short-form content
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and practically
- Strong sense of pacing, structure, and audience attention
- Results-oriented mindset, not purely aesthetic focus
- You are freelance
- You have learnt German as a Foreign language (is a plus)
Conditions
- Profile: You have experience and you can prove you have done a similar job before
- Payment: Per video
- Initial frequency: 3 videos per month
- Possibility of long-term collaboration based on results
